Dear
Students: ( From page one )
As
the youth of our nation you represent its tomorrow. This is in terms
of your leadership and intellectual capital and how we are to succeed
in the future.
I
write to you in the way my three children know of what I want for
them. I have written you about this in terms of many things. It is a
rather extensive letter that I ask your patience for.
Its
about things that you more than likely have been considering. This
includes your education, the horizon that you see for your life,
about setting the path for overcoming challenges that might await
you, and your empowerment as an individual.
Like
you, our nation is very young, where its foundation to endure time is
the US Constitution and its Bill of Rights. Imagine what greatness
there was in the founding fathers to craft this for us, and our
responsibility for assuring it.
For
our nation to last like others have, it is not possible without your
active interest and participation. So I further write you about
knowing your constitutional rights and freedoms, and your
participation as a community member in holding the government
accountable for them.
I
ask you to consider what your contributions can mean when you step
forward in your community and how this makes up the back bone of our
nation. The Constitution must be assured as a nation without
principles is not truly a nation of strength. This requires our
moral courage to do this and our fairness in judgment. It’s
about the quality of life we deserve, and your need to set standards
for responsible solutions and expectations for your community. With
this you can set the standards for the leadership of our nation to
assure this.
Get My Letter to You
Sincerely.
