An Open Letter to Tom Winter HumanEventsOnline.com from Orion Karl Daley
Apr 25, 2007 Subject: I don't think the sky is falling, and I'm not chicken little ! Dear Tom Winter: Please know that this is an open letter. I'm writing because in the past two days you sent an email from HumanEvents@HumanEventsOnline.com about 'immigrants threatening our national security', and then today that the world is no longer what it used to be due to 'Muslims'. I don't think the sky is falling, and I'm not chicken little ! Tom, can you really say that in trying to ratchet up the paranoia factor is serving our country ? I am a street wise New Yorker, and had guns to my head, and was close enough to ground zero on 9/11 to get the dust. Your email is like a dud ! I'm sure you are educated enough to know that FDR said "the only thing we need to Fear is Fear itself". There are allot of Americans that know this too, so you don't want to play them as fools also. I am sure you don't want to be seen as a pyromaniac that wants to keep yelling fire do you ? Being a mule in carrying the 'Fear Factor message' for someone else's agenda also does not say much about you, and this is why I offer you the opportunity to actually be someone that others can admire. Learn all about how to put out these self serving fires that have done our country wrong at http://unity2008.org ! I see a Strategic Future for our Nation, and any time someone tries to light a match of fear, at http://unity2008.org there are tidal waves of solutions to put it out. Tom we got to instead work on solutions for the Strategic Future of our Nation. So if you are really a patriot, I ask you to join me in this effort. Be a real American Patriot. You know, deep down inside I know that you probably are. Its a matter of just believing in your self, and I think thats what FDR meant ! Chill out friend !
