Petition: I swear not to Litter
The petition: "I Swear Not to Litter Campaign" is to eventually go to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Its fare for you to say, 'thats the least of our problems with the Environment', and I agree ! But I want you to consider the Domino affect. By taking a single step in not littering we have set a precedent in sending the message to our law makers of who we are, what we think of ourselves, and about the environment that we expect to live in. It is in our voice that moves this nation. We do not have to, nor should we wait on the fuzzy promises of others that someday off in the future that emissions will be down ! In signing this petition, we have demonstrated our commitment, and raised and set expectations of, and empowered our representative government to help take the next steps necessary for making a cleaner and healthier environment. As we are not littering, leaves no room for industry to litter, pollute, or lay waste to our environment and eco-systems. All environmental issues can now be pro-actively on the radar of law makers ! Like Government, Industry will get the clear message of our expectations for the environmental standards that we expect for our selves now and how this is to be respected and regarded now.
